Got on! Starting 5th in W4 division.

W3 is in fact ‘massive’ (Shan Patel, 2023). After a slightly shambolic Pem Regatta performance, W3 smashed it out the park with a bumps qualifying race on Friday. Leaving the boat house with a securely taped on bow ball, we had two exciting debuts in the boat - Sofia in her first race as stroke and Meg in her first race as bowside. Both girls did amazingly, with Meg’s only negative moment of the race being her jumper taking a dip in the river. Blades in time, and no crabs to be seen, our aggressively determined cox helped us get a sub 9:00 time (unsure of the exact time thanks to an inability to press go on the cox box). Well done to all, ‘Yeah Clare’ doughnuts were well deserved.
